Founded in 1975, Stewart’s Music Shop is not only one of the most well established businesses in Dungannon, it is also one of the oldest music shops in Ireland. A family run business with a reputation for friendly service and expertise, the shop is a popular destination for musicians and music fans alike.
The shop on Irish Street stocks a great selection of CDs and DVDs to suit all age groups and tastes, as well as a wide variety of musical instruments including acoustic and electric guitars, fiddles, banjos, accordions, keyboards and electric pianos. The shop also specialises in ticket sales and as well as being an official Ticketmaster outlet, it also stocks tickets for local concerts, teenage discos and amateur dramatic performances.
Stewart’s Music Shop has strong links to the industry and is incredibly proud to support local musicians and encourage local talent to prosper. Just a few weeks ago, the shop hosted Dungannon’s first Live Acoustic Saturday, where talented young musicians from across Dungannon and Tyrone were given the opportunity to showcase their talents to a live audience, a first for a number of those who performed.
In recent months shoppers in Irish Street will have noticed large queues outside the shop during the recently introduced artiste signing afternoons, keep an eye on our facebook and here on our website to hear first about who will be next!
