There’s A Party In Stewart’s Music Shop…And You’re Invited

For 40 years, Stewart’s Music Shop on Irish Street has proudly has been a step ahead of the beat, keeping the people of Dungannon and Tyrone in tune with music and song and to celebrate, they’re having a birthday bash!

On Saturday 10th September singing stars from across the decades, old and new will join staff, customers and friends for an exclusive and exciting afternoon of live music and celebration to mark the occasion.

Raymond Stewart, Stewart’s Music Shop explains:

“40 years is a momentous achievement for any small business, so we think it’s definitely something worth celebrating. It’s important to us that we celebrate along with our customers, the very people who have kept us here so long. In 40 years we’ve seen thousands of artists and bands come along and through all these changes in musical history, our customers have continued to support us – this party is our way of saying thanks.

“It is an idea we’ve been working on for some time and we’re delighted to finally be able to reveal all! We’re fortunate to be in the unique position of enjoying the support not only of our customers, but also so many of the artists and bands whose music they buy and I’m delighted to reveal that lots of them are coming along to join us too.

“We’ve truly been blown away by the number of artists who have so far agreed to come along and join us. There’ll be performances from Derek Ryan, Philomena Begley, Lisa McHugh, Johnny Brady, Cliona Hagan, Margo, Jim Devine, Dominic Kirwan, Michael English, Declan Nerney, Barry Kirwan, Marty Mone…the list goes on and the replies are still coming in! I’ve been in the music business for a long time and I’m not sure there has ever been a line-up like it anywhere!

“For us, it’s set to be a very special day and we’d like to warmly welcome everyone to join our celebrations. Whether you’re a regular customer, a budding musician or just passing by please do call in – there might even be cake!”
