Celebrating 50 years of Stewart’s Music Shop
This year, we’re proudly celebrating 50 incredible years in the music business.
When we opened our doors for the first time in 1975, 12-inch LPs and 7-inch singles were king.
ABBA had just released Waterloo, Queen released Bohemian Rhapsody and Bruce Springsteen broke through with Born to Run. Joe Dolan was one of Ireland’s biggest pop singers and Glen Campbell was riding high in the charts with Rhinestone Cowboy.
We’ve been here ever since—through every era of music in Ireland. Staying independent isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it. So thank you to every customer who has visited us over the last 50 years. Here’s to the next 50!
A Backstage Pass: Our Summer in concert
This summer, the Stewart’s Music Shop team hit the road for some of the biggest concerts of the year.
From Oasis’ first time in Ireland since 2009 to Ozzy’s last ever gig in Birmingham — with Amble, Kingfishr, Justin Timberlake, CMAT, Lisa McHugh, Zach Bryan, Richard Ashcroft, Stereophonics, Larry Fleet, and The 2 Johnnies in between ![]()
But now the festival wristbands are off and it’s back to the books!
